Rescue Dogs: Wunderdog Magazine

Wunderdog Magazine Launching July 2019

June 20, 2019

The first magazine for rescue-dog people is launching soon. The independent title is now available for pre-order via Indiegogo. Wunderdog aims to strengthen the movement to make rescue the world’s favourite breed. Wunderdog Magazine- for underdogs and wonderdogs. This high-end title, independently published from London for dog people around the world, will be crowdfunded via Indiegogo throughout June 2019 in a campaign that centres on pre-orders combined with exclusive merchandise designed by Fetch & Follow. The magazine is the content arm in our strategy to galvanise the dog-rescue movement, and a non-profit adoption app is the next step once the publication is profitable.

Building on the existing website, Wunderdog is dedicated to the good life with rescue dog, but it doesn’t shy away from the serious side of rescue missions, as well as healthcare. Wunderdog hopes to inspire people around the world to realise the benefits of finding a rescue companion- and anyone who has a compassionate relationship with animals willfind a home here. Each magazine (112 pages) contains the sections: Rescue, Travel, Design, Stories and Care, with features from around the globe. We highlight best practice in rescue and care, brands that give back, along with humans who deserve to be celebrated.

My photographs will be accompanying an article on Staffies written by journalist Stefanie Marsh.

Hoop 'n' Loop

June 20, 2018

Founded in 2017 by Carol Tai, who having worked in fashion since completing her degree on the subject, decided to set up her own business so that she could incorporate her love of animals into her work.

Inspired by her dog Koko, Hoop 'n' Loop embroiders pet portraits onto a variety of items from jumpers and t-shirts to bags and cushion covers. Each portrait is lovingly hand-drawn from a photograph of your choice and then embroidered, making it the perfect gift for a loved one or simply as a treat for yourself.
