Help the dogs of Ukraine January 2026

“It's devastating to know how many stray dogs in Ukraine are struggling to survive harsh conditions alone...yet I remain hopeful, because together we can bring them the care and protection they urgently need.

Your support makes a direct, life-saving difference:

  • £5 feeds a stray in Ukraine for a month

  • £25 sterilises a dog and breaks the cycle of suffering

  • £50 could support emergency vet care or provide winter shelter

In February, I'll be meeting the volunteers on the ground...and visiting shelters and vet clinics that rely entirely on compassion and community support. What we do together will shape their ability to keep going...and ensure that stray dogs aren't left to face this crisis alone.

I'm truly grateful to everyone who has already supported by raising awareness or donating...as the days draw closer to my trip, every contribution helps turn concern into real, lasting action. -Nikki”

Fundraiser Update

Thank you to Alexandra and Ilya who bought two prints from my window display at Pets Naturally of their beautiful cat Nina.

They donated a generous £50 to Cats Protection which means that to-date we have raised £400 for Cats Protection. A further £100 has been raised for research into CKD in cats- the organisation is yet to be decided, and £200 for The Mayhew.

You can buy prints from the window display by paying via my website, where I will make the donation for you, or by donating to a charity directly and sending me the email confirmation of your donation. Please contact me through my website in order to do this.

This year I am hoping to raise as much money as I can in Louis’ memory. Any tips on how to do so are very welcome.

Thank you to everyone for your generosity and support.

Window Display at Pets Naturally in London's Notting Hill

Up until the end of February you will be able to see some of my favourite photographs displayed at my local vet Pets Naturally in Notting Hill’s Chepstow Corner.

Most of the photographs will be available for sale once the display ends. All of the money raised will go towards my fundraising efforts in Louis’ memory.

If you would like to buy one of the items then please do get in touch. You will be able to collect the print(s) you purchase from March.
